Akira Namatame, Professor, Deparment of Computer Science, National Defence Academy of Japan,Shu-Heng Chen, Distinguished Professor, Department of Economics, National Chengchi University, TaiwanProf. Dr. Akira Namatame received his Ph. D from Stanford University, USA, in 1979. He joined the Department of Computer Science at Japan Defense Academy in 1988. He was a visiting Professor at George Mason University, USA, and Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia. His research interests include multi-agents, evolutionary computation, game theory, social simulation, and computational social sciences. He has published 10 books and more than 250 refereed journal or conference papers. He is the editor-in-chief of "the journal of Economic Interaction and Coordination".
