Chapter seven's information on various sorts of repairs, alone, is worth the price of the book, Thrift Style covers so much ground that it's destined to be definitive book on the topic. It will be my all-purpose, holiday gift this year. Utility aside, it's a fun read. And for those who read it and remain "Thanks, but I'd rather go to Barneys" types, it will explain why so many folks are hooked on thrifting.
